کتاب مرور سریع نورولوژی (جلد 1) پیشرو خلاصه‌ای از نکات مهم منابع آزمون‌های ارتقا و بورد نورولوژی است.
مطمئنا ارائه تمام مطالب مهم رفرنس‌ها در چنین مجموعه‌ای امکان‌پذیر نیست. نکاتی که در این کتاب بیان شده است عبارتند از:
1- نکات بسیار مهم که احتمال طرح سوال از آنها بالاست.
2- نکاتی که بخاطر سپاری آنها سخت است و بعد از چند بار مرور نیز فرار هستند.
3- نکات سخت و پیچیده اما مهمی که فهم آنها به وسیله‌ی طراحی جدول‌ها و الگوریتم‌ها راحت‌تر است.
بدیهی است که مطالعه‌ی این مجموعه نیاز همکاران گرامی را برای آمادگی در آزمون‌های ارتقا و بورد مرتفع نمی‌سازد و فقط به عنوان مروری سیستماتیک و منظم برای یادآوری مطالب مطالعه شده مفید است. پیشنهاد می‌شود که بعد از مطالعه‌ی دقیق رفرنس‌ها یا درسنامه‌ها در دو هفته پایانی قبل از آزمون این مجموعه مطالعه شود. چنانچه در زمان مطالعه به نکات و مطالبی برخوردید که برای شما نا آشناست دچار استرس نشوید، و در صورت لزوم به رفرنس اصلی و یا درسنامه خود مراجعه کنید. این نکته را به خاطر داشته باشید که شما با مطالعه این مجموعه معلومات خود را نمی‌آزمایید بلکه قصد یادگیری و یادآوری مطالب را دارید.
همیشه در امتحانات ارتقا و بورد اکثر سوالات از مباحث مهمی طرح می‌شوند که شما آن را چندین بار مطالعه کرده‌اید. مطالب جزئی و سخت حاشیه‌ای درصد بسیار کمی از سوالات را به خود اختصاص می‌دهند. در زمان کوتاه قبل از امتحان مرور مطالبی که مطالعه کرده‌اید به شما کمک بیشتری می‌کند، بنابراین ذهن خود را با مطالعه‌ی مطالب جدید و غیر مهم آشفته نکنید.
